Behind the Name
Hi! I'm Tiffany and I am an experienced handmade crafter and designer. My background is in healthcare and cybersecurity, but I have taken a full plunge into my greatest passion- artistry and crafting.
I started crocheting when I was 12, but I only learned a few stitches. When I was 20, I became self-taught on reading written patterns and developed a skillset that grew into even writing my own patterns. From there, I learned how to use a sewing machine (though it's still not my favorite thing to do). When the vinyl plotters came out, I got myself a Silhouette Cameo 3, and that is what started my journey in digital design and apparel. I learned how to create my own SVG files and cut them out of heat transfer vinyl, then apply it to shirts. That was time consuming to weed designs, however. When Sublimation hit the market, I made my own printer with an Epson EcoTank, and that was really so much easier! But....it had its limits, and I was yet again finding myself frustrated with technology not keeping up with me, because I was quickly bored of only being able to press ink into light colored items. I tried small-scale screen printing for a period, but it was not ideal for a small home office operation. And then the mother of all machines came - the at-home DTF printer. That was the game changer, the moment I finally met my match and it's been wonderful ever since! I have created countless beautiful DTF prints for numerous applications on all kinds of products, and it became my number one setup for apparel. I still utilize the vinyl plotter and sublimation printer, but the huge addition is having my own DTF printer. I have no wait times or issues with errors in prints that I have to re-order, it's all done in my studio.
In the last year, I have tried three different diode lasers, and I currently use two different sized lasers with diode and IR capabilities. I can cut or engrave various materials, and honestly the bar is pretty high on what these machines can do, with a few caveats. I cannot cut metal, and there are some size limitations as far as bigger items go. I am always eager to use either laser and try out new things. Obviously, I engrave coated tumblers and I can engrave/cut wood items, but IR allows me to engrave metal such as stainless steel and aluminum.
My other crafting skillset is in resin, which on it's own it's not a massive demand in terms of crafts. However, I do like to combine materials and keep things interesting, so I do plan to merge resin with my other skillsets to come up with something unique.
All of this is to say, creativity is my absolute passion, and if there was anyone able to take your idea and bring it to life, well....you're in the right place!
